These terms govern orders for printed editions placed through this website. Reading the corpus on this site is free and requires no account, and nothing in these terms restricts that — they apply only when you order a printed book.

Who you are buying from

Printed editions are sold by Srinivas Kannan, at SET BEFORE LAUNCH — business address. GSTIN: SET BEFORE LAUNCH — GSTIN, or state that the seller is unregistered.

Questions, order problems and grievances all reach the same place: support@prabhandham.in. We aim to acknowledge within two business days.

What is being sold

Printed, bound volumes of the Naalayira Divya Prabandham and the Desika Prabandham, as described on the printed edition page. The verses themselves are in the public domain. What is sold is the physical book — the typesetting, editing, essences, binding and manufacture — not any claim of ownership over the pasurams.

Reservations are not orders

Before the edition is released you may reserve a copy. A reservation takes no payment, asks for no card, and does not bind either side. It tells us how large to make the first printing and where to hold stock. When the edition is ready you will be told, and you may then choose to place an actual order, or not.

Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and, where a book is exempt from GST, are inclusive of tax. Any tax applicable to shipping or handling is shown separately at checkout.
  • Prices may change before an order is placed. The price that binds is the one shown on the order confirmation you receive.
  • Payment is collected by our payment processor. Card, UPI, netbanking and wallet details are handled by them and are never seen or stored by this site.
  • An order is accepted only when we confirm it. If a book is mispriced or unavailable, we may decline the order and refund you in full — this is the ordinary remedy, and no other liability follows from it.

Delivery, cancellation and returns

Dispatch and delivery are covered in the Shipping Policy; cancellation, returns and refunds in the Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

Your responsibilities

  • Give a complete, correct delivery address and a working phone number. Most failed deliveries are addresses, and a courier cannot fix one after dispatch.
  • Do not resell, reproduce, scan or redistribute the printed edition commercially. The text is free to read; this particular setting of it is not free to reprint.
  • Bulk and institutional orders — temples, patasalas, libraries — are welcome and are arranged by email rather than through the cart.

What we do not promise

  • Colour, grain and finish of a printed and bound book vary between copies and between print runs. Photographs on this site are representative, not exact.
  • Delivery estimates are estimates. Couriers, customs and weather are outside our control, and a delay in any of them is not a breach of these terms.
  • To the extent the law allows, liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
  • Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts at SET BEFORE LAUNCH — city whose courts have jurisdiction.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the edition and its fulfilment change. The version that applies to an order is the one published when that order was placed.
