The whole of this site, set in type and bound to be kept. The text you can read here for nothing is the text that goes to the press — the same corpus, the same sources, the same corrections — printed for the sannidhi, the shelf, and the generation after this one.

Where this text comes from

A Prabandham is only as good as the paatam behind it, so the sources are named rather than implied. The Desika Prabandham follows the Aandavan Ashram ‘with Breaks’ edition. Breath marks in the text are the source’s own recitation pauses, kept rather than dropped. The essences printed alongside the verses are original summaries written for this project, not translations of any copyrighted commentary.
